Eduard 1/72 Bf 109F-4 Profipack (70155)

This article will tell you more about Eduard 1/72 Bf 109F-4 Profipack (70155). As you might remember, initial release was a Limited Edition, but now we get a bit more accessible version with only one model inside. Nevertheless, it still features some bonuses in form of masks and PE, which will definitely come handy for a bit more detailed finish. Packaging is typical for this brand, and all frames come in several bags. Let's open them and take a closer look together.
By the way, here you can read review with P-40 in the same scale.

Watch this video where I show all parts even closer.

First frame is dedicated to fuselage and wing parts. Note that fuselage halves are molded without tail fin, and wing mechanization is also separate. External features look good for this scale.

Second grey plastic frame brings us the mix of various parts. Here you will find wing mechanization and wheel well parts as well as some cockpit sections.

One more propeller type can be found on the separate sprue.

Clear frame is packed into separate plastic bag. Molding quality looks great, and you can see pre-cut masks on the photo below.

Decals are printed by Eduard, so you don't have to worry about quality. On the first sheet you will find mains symbols and cockpit decals.

Stencils come on the second sheet and look great as well.

You can see all markings on the photo below.

Assembly manual is typical for this brand. I show all pages in the video-review.

New Bf 109 should be already available for purchase. In my opinion it gives some modelers a chance to build a single model without buying a Limited Edition. Some of you were actually asking when such release will be out, so here it is. Plastic itself look as good as before, so it is just a matter of careful assembly. Moreover, there are all necessary add-ons inside which should help you build a detailed copy of the famous German aircraft in small scale.

Pros

  • Nice molding quality
  • Clever parts division
  • PE and masks included
