This review will tell you more about Eduard 1/48 Zipper Limited Edition (11169). As you can guess from the boxart, kit features F-104 in popular scale. Eduard used plastic from Kinetic, added interesting markings and additional goodies, and that's how we have new release. As the name suggests, whole release is focused on aircraft operating in Vietnam war. Packaging is typical for this brand, all frames come in resealable plastic bag.
By the way, here you can read review with Eiko Limited Edition.

Watch this video-review where I show all parts even closer.
Here you can check a useful bonus which will make your model even impressive.
First frame carries mix of various parts. In my opinion the most important thing here is that the nose cone is assembled out of two halves. Moreover, there is no precise weight mentioned in the manual, so be sure to test it on your build.
Premolded details look great on original plastic and should be enhanced with help of PE. Note that all panels have guiding elements.
Fuel tanks should be glued out of two halves, the same can be said about nozzle. Pilot seat will be replace with Brassin alternative.
Two fuselage halves are molded together with tail fin. External features look good, but it would be important not to overdo the paint and primer layers.
Inside again we see a lot of guiding elements which should position two large parts together. Overall molding quality looks great and should be easy to work with.
Clear frame is packed into separate plastic bag. Of course, you will be able to open the canopy with those parts. Pre-cut masks are shown on the photo below.
Kit features two PE frets. This is a typical Eduard product, so you shouldn't worry about possible quality issues. Note that some parts are quite small and might require tweezers usage.
Kit also features resin parts or Brassin parts. :) You will get landing gear wheels and pilot seat. All those items are definitely better than standard plastic.
In the box you will find two decals sheets, both are printed in Eduard. Overall quality looks great, first one is dedicated to stencils.
Main symbols come with segmentation, this way it will be easier to get the necessary signs.
All markings can be seen on the photo below.
Here is a quick recap of what is inside the package.

New kit should be already available for purchase, but I would recommend to hurry if you want to get one for your collection. Overall quality looks great and should be easy to work with. Moreover, even standard package will give you a great result. You can also get the nozzle separately, and it might be a good idea for those who would like to have something even more sophisticated. This is definitely not a kit for beginners, but with some skills you will build an interesting jet model.
