This review is dedicated to DXM Decals 1/48 F-14 Tomcat (21-4157). New set comes as yet another product from the well-known brand in popular scale. Well, aircraft doesn't require an extra introduction, and such decals might enable you to assemble something different from standard markings out of the box. Packaging is typical for this brand, so you will get decals sheet and manual in one plastic bag. There are five options in total, let's open whole package and take a closer look together.

We are going to start with marking guide, which is printed as small color brochure. All versions are shown from four sides, so you will know what to do. Note that colors are provided in FS numbers.
Decals are printed in Cartograf, so overall quality looks great. There is no segmentation, and it means you will have to be careful while getting this or that symbol. Stencils are included, in that scale it is very handy. Nice surprise comes in form of camouflage masks template, which you can see on the photo below. This item will help you to replicate the camouflage of Iranian aircraft.
New set should be already available for purchase. In my opinion it is a must-have for all modelers who would like to build their own copy of the famous Tomcat. Overall quality looks great and choice of markings is also good. I am quite pleased to see masks included, as not that many decals brands do this in their sets. Such small things actually make the difference and improve overall experience with the decals set.
