Miniart 1/35 Typ 170V with Canvas (38072)

This article is dedicated to Miniart 1/35 Typ 170V with Canvas (38072). As you can guess from the name, kit offers a chance to build your own pickup in popular scale. Note that new version comes with canvas over the rear section. Such car can be a great choice for some diorama project. It will be interesting to check this and other parts closer, so let's open the plastic bag and take a look.
By the way, here you can read review with another version of the same car.

Watch this video-review where I show all parts even closer.

We are going to start with "universal" frame which carries mix of parts. Here you will find bonnet panels as well as one-piece chassis. Note that bonnet can be opened in order to show the engine inside.

Engine looks great out of the box, and it might be worth showing on the finished model. Of course, you can also add some wiring for even more convincing look.

Rear bed should be glued out of separate panels. Doors are designed as two-piece assembly with nice interior parts.

Just like in previous releases, here we get wheels assembled out of separate sections. Such design should look convincing and easy to assemble.

Canvas top comes on the separate frame. Miniart offers two assembly options - open and closed, what is really nice to get in the box.

Pickup version will use those parts - new bottom panel and separate panels for the front cab. Overall design looks great and should be easy to work with.

Clear frame looks great out of the box. Note that there are no masks included, and you will have to cut them yourself.

PE fret is packed into separate envelope with manufacturer logo. Of course, those parts will come handy for fine features on your car.

Decals are printed in Cartograf, so overall quality looks great. There are all necessary symbols for four markings, which you can see on the photo below.

Assembly manual is typical for Miniart. I show all pages in the video-review.

I like what we get in this kit - car model which can be a great addition for some diorama project. Moreover, it is nice to see Miniart including various assembly options. Such design makes the model a bit more flexible, and I am sure modelers will be happy to get that. The only thing to keep in mind is that such model is definitely not for beginners, so be sure to have at least some experience behind your back. :)
