In this review I am going to tell you more about ICM 1/35 V3000S Einheitsfahrerhaus (35409). Kit comes as yet another version of the German military truck. It is molded in popular scale and might be interesting both as solo subject and part of some diorama. Packaging is typical for this brand, so all parts come in one resealable plastic bag. There are 229 parts which should assemble into a model with 182mm length. Let's open everything and take a closer look together.
By the way, here you can read review with a bit more busy set in the same scale.

I recommend to watch this video where I show all parts even closer.
We are going to start with the sprue which carries rear bed panels and wheels. It is nice to see plastic wheels here as those will look a bit more convincing in comparison with vinyl offering.
Main chassis should be assembled out of separate bars. Engine and gearbox are also included, so it might be worth thinking on how to expose this part of the truck.
This version of the front cab will not be used. Only some of the parts will be applied to today's boxy cab.
Last grey plastic sprue carries the "right" parts for the front cab. Doors are separate and can be positioned open, but bonnet is molded shut.
Clear frame is packed into separate plastic bag in order to avoid possible scratches. Molding quality looks great on those parts.
Kit features small insert about ICM paints. I recommend to try those as they are very easy to use both with brush and airbrush.
Decals sheet is not that big, but carries symbols for several markings. You can see them on the photo below.
Assembly manual is typical for ICM. I show all pages in the video-review as usual. :)
New release should be already available for purchase. In my opinion it is an interesting choice for modelers who would like to build their own German truck in popular scale. Moreover, some assembly options might be handy for figures placement. Yes, bonnet is molded shut, but for experienced modelers this thing might be quick to solve. It is also nice to see plastic wheels included here, as those are definitely better than rubber offering.
