Miniart 1/35 US Armored Bulldozer (35403)

Today we are going to talk about Miniart 1/35 US Armored Bulldozer (35403). Kit comes as yet another version of the unusual vehicle in popular scale. In my opinion it might be a good choice for some diorama project. Moreover, we reviewed previous releases, so it will be interesting to see what was updated here. The most noticeable thing is armor covering of the driver space, but maybe there is something else. Packaging is typical for this brand, so all frames come sealed in one plastic bag. Let's open them and take a closer look together.
By the way, here you can read review with another bulldozer version.

Watch this video-review where I show all parts even closer.

We are going to start with one of the biggest frames here. As you can see, here manufacturer supplies drivetrain parts which should be combined together.

Overall suspension should be nicely detailed out of the box. It might be good idea to play with weathering on those.

Kit features plastic tracks which should be easier to paint and assemble. Keep in mind that there is no assembly jig.

Kit is full of small parts, so some previous experience will be required from you.

Miniart included nicely detailed engine which should be assembled out of several parts. Maybe it would be a good idea to add some wires here as well.

Amount of small parts and the features copied are truly impressive. Unfortunately it also means that kit is more suitable for experienced modelers.

Nevertheless, design includes guiding elements in all necessary spots, so this will come handy for sure.

Armor panels are molded on the separate sprue. Doors are separate here and can be opened on your model.

I am glad to see dozer blade as single-piece element here. Such design should be easier to assemble and final appearance would be a bit more convincing.

Of course, there are typical Miniart bonuses in form of clear parts, textile thread and unpainted PE fret. All of those will be useful for more features copied on your model.

Decals sheet comes from Cartograf. Printing quality looks great, and you can copy several markings with help of those symbols. Note that some things can be also copied with masks if you will cut them.

Assembly manual is typical for this brand. I show all pages in the video-review.

New kit is already available for purchase. In my opinion it is a cool offering and might look great both as "solo" and as part of some diorama project. As I mentioned in the article, whole package is more suitable for experienced modelers or for the brave ones who is ready to work with a bit more detailed thing. There is also a huge space for painting and weathering ideas. I would definitely recommend to open the doors in order to show interior as well. :)
