IBG Models 1/700 ORP Garland 1944 Destroyer (70007)

This time we are going to check IBG Models 1/700 ORP Garland 1944 Destroyer (70007). Kit comes as another addition in the naval series from the famous manufacturer. As you can guess, plastic copies British destroyer, which was loaned to Poland in 1940. It was participating in convoy missions and provided support to other vessels. As the final step, ship was decommissioned in 1964. Now IBG gives us a chance to copy it in small scale. Packaging is typical here, so let's open this box and check everything together.
As usual, video-review above will show you all parts even closer. :)

We are going to start with the biggest frame here which carries lower hull section. Overall design is similar to what we saw in the previous releases from IBG Models.

Deck panels have some premolded features, so it would be a good idea to bring them out with help of washes. Be ready to work with tiny PE parts as those will require careful installation on the model.

Decals sheet looks good and features flags for this model. Assembly manual is typical for IBG Models, and you can check all pages in the video-review.

Today's kit comes as yet another nice addition in small scale. In my opinion one box will bring you all the necessary things for a nice build. Moreover, it is great to see PE in the standard package, as it will have a great influence on the final appearance. Overall this model has all the chances to become a nice copy of the destroyer and it won't take half of your room.
Get this and other models on official IBG Models website.
