This time we are going to talk about Special Hobby 1/48 Reggiane Re.2000GA/Serie III (SH48205). Kit comes as yet another version of the Italian aircraft in popular scale. We reviewed previous releases, but this time it would be interesting to see what has changed. Worth noting that "GA" in the name of the aircraft means "Grande Autonomia" - increased fuel tanks for even better range. There were only 12 aircraft of this type built. Obviously, it is not visible in this kit, but let's check all the components.
By the way, here you can read review with Sunderland in smaller scale.

We are going to start with wing parts. Overall design is typical, note that mechanization is molded in.
Engine parts can be found on the next frame. Propeller has separate blades, so it is better to pay attention to their alignment.
Overall molding quality looks great and should be easy to work with. Just be ready to see the absence of guiding elements.
Noth fuselage halves are molded together with tail fin and rudder. External features look good and should be easy to bring out with help of weathering.
Clear frame is packed into separate plastic bag. Molding quality looks fine, and you will need only two parts from here. Note that masks should be bought separately.
Decals sheet features all necessary symbols for several marking options. Assembly manual is typical for this brand, and I show all pages in the video-review.
New Reggiane version should be already available for purchase. In my opinion this kit might be a great change for modelers who are tired from all those typical aircraft types we are used to see on the exhibitions. Moreover, bright markings will help the model to stand out in the crowd. The only thing that is worth noting - today's plastic is definitely not for beginners. Absence of guiding elements as well as design of some parts would require previous experience from you, so be ready.
