Arma Hobby 1/72 F-6C Mustang (70040)

This review is dedicated to Arma Hobby 1/72 F-6C Mustang (70040). Kit comes as the fresh release from the famous Polish manufacturer. It is still made in small scale, but this time copies slightly different version of the American fighter aircraft. Moreover, this is an Expert Set, so you can expect some additional goodies inside. Packaging is typical, so let's open it and take a closer look together.

We are going to start with the first frame, where you will find all the large parts. Note that wing features premolded ailerons, and only flaps comes separately.

Both fuselage halves are molded without tail fin, but with top cowling panel. I would recommend to be careful in this area.

There are two frames in total in this kit. Second one brings several versions of exhaust stacks, fuel tanks and fuselage panels. Note that landing gear wheels feature weight imitation.

Clear frame is packed into separate plastic bag. Molding quality looks great and you can see masks on the photo below.

Small PE fret should be also handy for fine features on your model.

Decals sheet is not big, but there are all necessary symbols for several markings. Note that Arma Hobby included even some cockpit decals. You can see some of the markings on the photo below, but note that there are some bonus camouflages inside.

Assembly manual is typical for this brand. I show all pages, including bonus markings, in the video-review.

New Mustang comes as a nice small scale kit from the well-known manufacturer. In my opinion it should be a great choice for every modelers who would like to build a modern model in smaller size. Moreover, size doesn't undermine the overall look of this kit, and it can rival with some bigger offerings. It is also nice to get some useful bonuses in the Expert Set, as they will make it easier to get a nice-looking aircraft.
