This review is dedicated to Special Hobby 1/72 DH.100 Vampire Mk.3 (SH72453). Yes, we get another version of the famous aircraft in the small scale. In my opinion such build might be interesting for modelers who would like to assemble something unusual. Vampire doesn't look like your typical aircraft and therefore will be quite a great thing to build. New version features different markings, so let's open this box and take a closer look together.

We are going to start with sprue which carries two large lower halves for the wing. There are guiding elements inside, so you shouldn't be worried about fitment issues.

Fuselage is divided horizontally here. External features include nice panel lines and rivets.

Clear frame comes in the separate plastic bag. Molding quality looks great, and you can open cockpit on your model.

There is only one decals sheet in the box. Here you will find all necessary symbols for four marking options. By the way, you can see them all on the photo below.

New Vampire should be already available. In my opinion this kit shows itself as a good model in popular small scale. Yes, such design might be a bit tricky for beginners, but this is something you can't avoid with this aircraft. All in all we get a great kit which can be enhanced even more with help of additional aftermarket. I would go for some PE in the cockpit so that pilot's workspace would look even more impressive.

Новый набор уже должен быть в продаже. Я считаю, что набор прошёл тест временем и показал себя интересным вариантом. Да, такой дизайн будет непростым для новичков, но этого никак не избежать, если вы хотите собрать "Вампира". В целом пластик смотрится отлично и может быть улучшен при помощи афтермаркета. Я бы точно добавил немного травления в кабину чтобы получился ещё более убедительный вид.
