ICM 1/35 Soviet Six-Wheel Army Truck with Shelter (35002)

This article is dedicated to ICM 1/35 Soviet Six-Wheel Army Truck with Shelter (35002). Kit comes as a new version of the military truck in popular scale. Note that we get only the truck itself and there are no additional bonuses like figures or special stands. Nevertheless, it is still interesting to see what is in the box, so that's why I got one box for the review. Packaging is typical for this brand, all frames come in one bag. Let's open it and take a closer look together.
By the way, here you can read review with Laffly kit.

Watch this video-review where I show all parts even closer.

We are going to start with the frame which carries large panels for the rear section. These parts should be easy to combine, but keep in mind that shelter will be empty inside.

Next sprue is even bigger as we get a mix of various parts here. Large chassis bars should be easy to work with. Engine is also included, and there is an option to tilt the front cab in order to expose the engine.

Kit features a lot of small parts, so be ready to work with those. Some thing elements might be worth replacing with metal wire.

Next we see suspension parts as well as exhaust sections. Kit will be quite detailed in suspension area, but I am not sure how it would be possible to show all this.

Wheel rims are molded on the separate frames. Such design should be easy to paint.

Two similar frames will bring you mudguards as well as chassis bars.

Last grey sprue comes with front cab parts. Note that doors are separate, so it might be possible to position them open.

Kit features two clear frames. The one on the photo above should be handy for the shelter.

Second one carries parts for the front cab. Molding quality looks great, but there are no masks or mask templates included.

Vinyl tires look ok for out of the box build. There are no features on the tire walls, but tire pattern looks good.

I recommend to check resin aftermarket if you would like to have better details on your model.

Decals sheet is hidden in the manual. Printing quality looks good, and you will find all necessary symbols for several markings. Assembly manual is typical for this brand, I show all pages in the video-review.

New truck model should be already available for purchase. In one box you will get a decent kit which should be easy to assembly. Well, it is definitely not a model for beginners, but experienced modelers will be able to get something attractive. Moreover, there is a huge space for additional detailing if you would like to have more things inside. I guess there is no need to mention that model copies KAMAZ truck, so might even use it for some modern diorama project.
