Miniart 1/35 T-34/85 Mod.1960 (37089)

In this review we are going to take a look at Miniart 1/35 T-34/85 Mod.1960 (37089). Nice box brings us yet another version of the famous Soviet tank in popular scale. Nevertheless, newcomer is supplied as kit without interior, what might be a bit more attractive for some modelers due to smaller parts count. Note that here we get a late type of version which can be handy for some specific projects. Well, packaging is typical for Miniart, all frames come sealed in a bag. Let's open it and take a closer look together.
By the way, here you can read review with tractor kit in the same scale.

We are going to start with small frames which are secured in the separate bag. Here you will find roadwheels, one-piece main barrel and some of the external bits. For roadwheels it will be necessary to find a masking template.

Next we continue with large frame for hull parts as well as several smaller ones with various external bits Of course, all hatches are molded separately and can be opened on your model.

Kit still features some of the interior parts, but no worries - these will be needed only for structural rigidness.

Fuel drums are assembled out of several parts and there are guiding elements inside. Molding quality looks clean and should be easy to work with.

Suspension should be also a good-looking thing. Miniart added plastic tracks to the kit, what is obviously better than typical vinyl offering.

Turret parts come on the separate frame. Casting surface looks good and deserves nice weathering.

Lower hull should be glued out of separate panels, so be sure to check the alignment. Top hull cover comes as separate one-piece part.

PE fret comes in the separate envelope. All these parts should add fine features to your model. Decals sheet is packed together with clear frame. Of course, it is printed in Decograf and you can see all markings on the photo below.

Assembly manual is typical for this brand. I show all pages in the video-review.

New tank kit should be already available for purchase. In one box you will get a nice plastic which should turn into one of the best T-34 models on the market. I wouldn't call it as a beginner's kit, but modelers with some experience will be able to get a nice result. This is a typicla Miniart model, so you won't have any problems if you assembled their kits. Of course, such build can be also a good base to try your weathering skills in order to make green camouflage even more good-looking.
