ICM 1/32 CR.42 Falco with Italian Pilots (32025)

This review is dedicated to ICM 1/32 CR.42 Falco with Italian Pilots (32025). As you can guess from the name, we get a combo-set in big scale. This plastic will give you a chance to copy Italian biplane and some figures. There are 161+28 parts in the box. Aircraft wingspan will be equal to 303mm. Let's open this box and take a closer look together.

We are going to start with first sprue which is dedicated to figure parts and comes in the separate plastic bag. Overall design is standard for this scale and should be easy to work with.

Next we can turn our attention to aircraft parts. Here you can see engine and lower wing halves. Note that engine can be assembled in open version.

Landing gear fairings should be glued out of two halves. There are guiding pins inside which will make it easier to assemble your model.

One-piece propeller is a welcome addition to such big kit. Note also separate landing gear legs.

Top wing should be glued out of two halves with separate ailerons. Cowling panels are molded separately and can be assembled in open version.

Both fuselage halves come with tail fin. External features look great, cockpit will be assembled out of separate parts.

Clear frame is really small and comes in the separate plastic bag. Note that masks template is included in the assembly manual.

Decals sheet looks nice and features all necessary symbols for two marking options. Yes, there are only two camouflages, you can see them on the photo below.

Assembly manual is typical for this brand. It is a large brochure with short history note on the first page. You can check all pages in the video-review.

New set should be already available for purchase. In one box you will get nice figures together with big scale aircraft. Moreover, parts count is not crazy, so you won't be overburdened with some extra steps. I should also note that details look great and deserve nice paintwork. Well, such combo might turn into a diorama build, so definitely think about some nice model stand.
