Infinity Models 1/32 SB2C-4 Helldiver (01)

Today we are going to take a look at Infinity Models 1/32 SB2C-4 Helldiver (01). This is a new release from relatively young Czech brand. Nevertheless, you might notice HPH logo on the box. Well, these two brands are connected with each other and as I understood, today's kit was developed in cooperation. Packaging is not that big and finished model won't be too large either. Nevertheless, each frame here is packed into separate plastic bag. Parts count is a bit over 300 parts, so it will be interesting to see what is copied out of the box. As usual, we are going to start with videos.

Сегодня мы поговорим о наборе SB2C-4 Helldiver. Это новый релиз от относительно молодой чешской марки. Тем не менее, вы также можете заметить логотип HPH на коробке. Эти два бренда связаны вместе и, как я понял, набор был создан совместно. Упаковка не такая большая как могла бы быть, готовая модель также не удивит размерами. Тем не менее, каждая рамка упакована в отдельный пакет. Всего здесь чуть больше чем 300 деталей, так что интересно посмотреть, что скопировано из коробки. Как обычно, начнём с видео.

First frame carries wing and tailwing halves. Note that wing comes with aileron and tailwing features elevators.

Первая рамка содержит половины крыла и стабилизаторов. Обратите внимание, что элероны и рули высоты влитые.

External features are standard and include recessed panel lines and rivets. Main wheel wells should be assembled separately.

Внешняя проработка стандартная и включает внутреннюю расшивку с клёпкой. Ниши шасси собираются отдельно.

Next frame is dedicated to mix of various parts. You can see flaps, small cockpit elements and some of the wheel wells tabs.

Следующая рамка выделена под микс деталей. Вы можете видеть закрылки, небольшие части кабины и некоторые элементы ниш шасси.

Another sprue is also dedicated to different bits. Infinity Models placed here landing gear parts as well as some cockpit elements.

Ещё один литник также выделен под разные детали. Производитель уместил сюда детали шасси, а также кабины.

Landing gear wheels don't look as good as they could be, so it might be a wise idea to replace them with resin. I hope Infinity Models will come up with accessory set.

Колёса шасси не выглядят прямо впечатляюще, так что стоит задумать об их замене на смолу. Я надеюсь, что Инфинити Моделс выпустят подобный комплект.

Some small parts will require work with tweezers because otherwise it will be tricky to handle them. :)

Cockpit parts come on the next frame. There are some premolded features, so be ready to work with sharp brush.

Детали кабины уместились на следующей рамке. У них есть влитые элементы, так что будьте готовы поработать тонкой кистью.

Note that there are no PE parts for the cockpit except of seatbelts. Additional "metal" will have to be purchased separately.

Обратите внимание, что для кабины нет травления за исключением ремней. Дополнительный "металл" нужно будет докупать отдельно.

Another pair of tailwing halves comes on the next frames. I was surprised to see cowling parts molded together with cooling flaps. It might be an important thing in such big scale.

Ещё одна пара стабилизаторов уместилась вместе с половинами капота. Обратите внимание, что створки на капоте влитые. Немного странно видеть такую вещь в крупном масштабе.

Engine parts received their own frame. It should turn into a nice powerplant, but you will have to think on how to show this assembly on your aircraft. Moreover, it might be a good idea to add some wiring here.

Детали двигателя уместились на отдельной рамке. Из всего этого получится впечатляющий мотор, но нужно подумать как показать это на собранной модели. Более того, можно также добавить проводку.

Fuselage halves come molded together with tail fin and rudder. Attachment points are placed on the top side.

Половины фюзеляжа отлиты вместе с килём и рулём направления. Питатели уместились на верхней плоскости.

External features look great, but I would recommend not to go crazy with layers of primer and paint.

Внешняя проработка смотрится отлично, но рекомендую не увлекаться слоями грунта и краски.

Flip over these parts and you will see some minor features for the cockpit. These just ask for some washings and weathering.

Переверните эти детали и вы увидите проработку кабины. Подобная вещь буквально просится на везеринг смывками.

Clear frame looks good and includes canopy parts. Moreover, modeler will find some of the cockpit elements here. Masks are not included, so be ready to search for some set.

Прозрачная рамка выглядит отлично и содержит детали фонаря. Более того, моделист найдёт здесь некоторые детали кабины. Масок в комплекте нет, так что придётся всё вырезать самому.

Nice surprise comes in form of HGW textile seatbelts. Such thing will be handy for 1/32 scale build, so be sure to install it into your model.

Приятный сюрприз заключается в текстильных ремнях. Подобная вещь точно пригодится для проекта в 32-ом масштабе.

I am not sure on where these decals come from, but printing quality looks good. Note that there are cockpit decals included. Assembly manual is printed in form of small brochure. You can check all pages in the video-review.

Я не совсем уверен кто отпечатал данные декали, но качество смотрится неплохо. Есть даже декали для кабины. Инструкция отпечатана в виде небольшой брошюры. Вы можете просмотреть все страницы в видео-обзоре.

New kit should be already available for purchase and it looks like a great thing to build. Yes, such release is more suitable for experienced modelers, and manufacturer notes this on the box. Big Helldiver has a lot of things which will require some skills or can be added with scratchbuilding, so I can't recommend it to beginners. Nevertheless, whole set looks nice out of the box and might turn into a great copy of the famous aircraft. Don't forget about original accessories that would make your model even more detailed.

Новый набор уже доступен в продаже и станет отличным проектом. Да, подобная модель больше подойдёт опытным моделистам, но производитель подмечает это даже на коробке. Большой самолёт потребует должного внимания, много вещей можно добавить самому, поэтому я бы не стал рекомендовать его новичкам. Тем не менее, пластик смотрится неплохо и может стать отличной копией знаменитого самолёта. Не забудьте об оригинальных дополнениях, которые сделают вашу модель ещё более интересной.
