This review is dedicated to Eduard 1/48 Bf 109G-10 Erla Weekend (84174). It is easy to guess that nice box comes as a new version of the great kit from Czech manufacturer. I guess aircraft itself doesn't need an extra introduction. As you can see in the name and on the boxart, plastic is released as Weekend Edition, what means that there are no PE or masks included. Packaging is typical for this brand, so frames are separated into several bags. Let's open them and take a closer look.
By the way, here you can read review with Spitfire kit.

Watch both video-reviews where I show kit and PE set.
Let's start with one of the biggest frames in this kit. Here you will find various external parts such as wing mechanization and fuel tank halves.
Next sprue carries mix of various parts. Eduard placed cockpit floor in one corner and whole set of various tires in the opposite. There are also three types of propellers.
Both fueslage halves come on the separate frame. Note that tail fin and top cowling panel are molded separately.
Last grey sprue is dedicated to wing parts. There are three parts to combine together, plus all wing mechanization and air intakes are also molded as separate parts.
Clear frame is packed into separate plastic bag. Molding quality looks great, but there are no masks included, just like in any other Weekend Edition kit.
Both decals sheets are printed in Eduard, so you shouldn't be worried about possible quality issues. Eduard also included some cockpit decals here. You can see all markings on the photo below.
Assembly manual is typical for this brand. I show all pages in the video-review.
New Bf 109 should be already available for purchase. In one box you will get a decent plastic together with interesting markings and nice decals. Model should be easy to work with and might be recommended even to beginners. Don't forget about huge choice of accessories which can improve different areas. In other words, you can turn this model into something even more impressive. The only thing require - careful assembly. :D
