Aoshima 1/72 Kawasaki Ki-100 (008096)

This review is dedicated to Aoshima 1/72 Kawasaki Ki-100 (008096). Kit itself isn't that new and was released in 2013. Nevertheless, it copies Japanese fighter aircraft in small scale and might be a great build project for all fans of this genre. Well, it is still interesting to see what is supplied in this nice box. Packaging is typical here. Let's open it together and take a closer look.

Данный обзор будет посвящён набору от компании Аошима в 72-ом масштабе. Сам пластик может быть и не нов, ведь он вышел в 2013 году. Тем не менее, он копирует японский самолёт в небольшом размере и будет отличным проектом для фанатов этого жанра. Также интересно посмотреть, что идёт в комплекте. Упаковка типичная, так что давайте откроем её и рассмотрим всё поближе.

First frame comes with wing parts. Overall design is typical, wing mechanization is molded in. External features look nice.

Первая рамка выделена под детали для крыла. В целом дизайн типичен, механизация влитая. Внешняя проработка выглядит неплохо.

Next we continue with mix of various parts. Here you will find cockpit elements as well as some external parts. Note also engine insert which will be installed in the cowling.

Далее мы продолжаем с миксом деталей. Здесь есть и части кабины, а также некоторые внешние элементы. Обратите внимание на то как скопирован двигатель.

Both fuselage halves are molded with tail section and rudder. External features look fine and won't disappear under coat of primer and paint.

Обе половины фюзеляжа отлиты с килём и рулём направления. Внешняя проработка выглядит неплохо и не исчезнет под слоем грунта и краски.

Inside you will find guiding pins, which should make assembly easier. Cockpit walls are molded as separate parts.

Note that some cowling panels come as separate parts. Clear elements look great, but there are no masks included.

Обратите внимание, что панели капота выполнены отдельно. Прозрачные детали выглядят отлично, но масок в комплекте нет.

Decals sheet is sealed in plastic bag and carries all necessary symbols for several markings. Some of these can be replicated with help of masks. Assembly manual is printed in black-and-white, you can check all pages in our video-review.

Today's kit should be still available in all good model shops. In my opinion this is a great choice for all fans of Japanese aircraft. Small scale should make it easier to assemble and display. Moreover, plastic design looks like an easy thing to assemble, so there won't be any issues whatsoever. Still, experienced modelers would fine some spots which can be upgraded for even better appearance. As usual, your imagination is the only limit.

Сегодняшний набор должен быть всё ещё доступен. Я считаю, что это отличный выбор для фанатов японской авиации. Небольшой масштаб упростит сборку и показ собранной модели. Более того, дизайн пластика смотрится несложным для сборки. Опытные моделисты также найдут что доработать для ещё более убедительного вида. Как обычно, здесь нужно только богатое воображение и навыки.
