IBG Models 1/35 Mle 1897 (35056)

This time we are going to check IBG Models 1/35 Mle 1897 (35056). This is a small kit in typical scale and it should be handy for some diorama project or even as the sole subject. 75mm French field gun won't take a lot of space, but I can bet it would look good with some figures. Don't get confused by boxart - there are no soldiers included, and you will have to find them. Packaging is typical, all frames come in one bag. Let's open it and take a closer look together.
By the way, here you can read review with T-55 kit.

First frame is the biggest in the kit. Here you will find antirecoil legs as well as some minor parts for the gun.

Note that kit features a lot of small elements, so it would be better to have a special tools for assembly. Armor plate can be found on the next frame. It is also nice to see plastic wheels in the box.

Kit also features small PE fret for fine details. Assembly manual is typical for this brand and you can check all pages in the video-review.

Small kit should be already available and looks like a nice thing to build. In my opinion it will be interesting for modelers who would like to create a small diorama in popular scale. Nice molding quality and clever parts division will help you to assemble the kit in no time. The only thing I would recommend to look for - some figures to add around the gun. :)

Pros

  • Nice molding quality
  • Clever parts division
  • PE included

Cons

  • Small size might be tricky for some modelers
