This time we are going to talk about Miniart 1/35 Kursk 1943 Pz.Kpfw.IV Field Repair (36062). New release comes as yet another offering from Dioramas Series made by the famous brand. It is molded in popular scale and gives you tank, figurines and diorama stand all in one box. Some of those sets were released separately, but this one is notable because it combines them into meaningful scene. Overall packaging is typical for Miniart, so all frames are sealed into one plastic bag. Let's open it and take a closer look together.
By the way, here you can read review with another interesting release in the same scale.

Watch this video-review where I show all parts even closer.
First we see hull panels for the tank. Overall parts division is logical, and there are guiding elements which will help you with alignment.
All hatches are molded separately, what might be useful for showing what is inside. Surface features are present from both sides of the panels.
Kit features separate track links, and those look great. Nevertheless, the assembly process will take some time for sure.
It is nice to see fully detailed engine included here. I would recommend to think about adding wiring for even more impressive appearance as result.
Various service equipment is another great bonus for the full project.
Figurines are typical for Miniart, so you get nice sculpting out of the box. There are no guiding elements, and it might require some careful alignment for a better final look.
Roadwheels are molded with rubber sections. This will require some careful masking or hand painting.
I like that interior is here as well, but you will have to plan the paintwork in advance.
It also means that you will get ammo rounds for the loadout. On the photo above you can also see light pole for the diorama.
More interior parts come on another sprue. Molding quality is quite impressive, but thin parts will require careful handling.
Attention to small features is traditional for Miniart, and I would recommend to start whole thin only if you have previous experience.
Pioneer tools are molded on the separate frame. They look great and should be a nice add-on for the whole project.
When you look at amount of various frames in the box, it is clear why Miniart stopped writing parts count. Here it is for sure more than 1000 parts.
More tools can be found on the next frames. Here you also see side skirts and schurzen frames.
Turret should be glued out of separate panels. All hatches can be positioned open, and this is definitely useful for showing what is inside.
Some panels are quite large, but there are guiding elements which should help you with overall alignment.
More figurines and tools come on another two sprues. All poses are predefined, so you won't be able to change much in this sense.
Whole drivetrain is one of the most detailed for this type of tank, and it might be worth thinking on how to show all its sections in the model.
Yes, diorama base is also here, what is quite cool to get in one box.
Small PE fret will be handy for the interior and exterior of the tank. Parts count is quite big here, and some items can be installed only with tweezers.
Decals sheet comes from Cartograf, and printing quality looks great. Clear frame is packed separately, and while molding quality is fine, there are no masks included.
Assembly manual is typical for Miniart. I show all pages in the video-review. Whole set should be already available for purchase. It looks like a great package, but definitely not something what you can build over the weekend. I would say that this kit is more for experienced modelers, who would know what to do with all the parts inside. Overall quality is just fine, and it is safe to say that manufacturer packed all the necessary things together.
