In this review I will tell you more about Pen&Sword The Airman's War 1914-1918. As you can guess from the name, whole book is dedicated to WW1 aerial battles from RAF point of view. It is written by Matthew Richardson, who already wrote some titles about this war. The whole publication is not that large, what promises a quick and easy read for those who would like to learn more. What I will show here and in the video is the final state of the book, and you will get exactly the same thing. Let's open it and take a closer look together.
By the way, here you can read review with another book from the same publisher.

Watch this video-review where I show even more pages inside.
Let's start with the contents page. Here you can see that the whole book is divided into five chapters in total. They are placed in chronological order and should be easy to read.
Printing format is not too cluttered, so the text should be easy to read. Whole book features 216 pages with more than 50 illustrations on them.
Some photos are published for the first time. As you can see, they are showing all related things, and even pilots get their portraits published here.
Overall I think this is a very handy book for those who would like to learn more on how aerial battles were developing in WW1. Whole period is interesting because all sides of the conflict were trying to invent their own ways of fighting, and it is nicely described here. Moreover, illustrations will also come handy for a better understanding as well as food for thoughts with some next project.
