Eduard 1/48 Spitfire Mk.Vc Profipack (82158)

Today we are going to talk about Eduard 1/48 Spitfire Mk.Vc Profipack (82158). Kit comes as yet another version of the famous British fighter aircraft in the popular scale. We can expect new markings here as well as all traditional Profipack items for a nice build. Packaging is typical for this brand, so you will find all frames in several bags. Let's open them and take a closer look together.
By the way, here you can read review with Limited Edition kit in smaller scale.

Watch this video-review where I show all parts even closer.

First frame is dedicated to mix of parts for the tail section and landing gear. Don't forget that you can replace wheels with Brassin set.

Next we find some cockpit parts and several types of propeller. Again, cockpit can be also replaced with Brassin upgrade, but such thing will require some investment.

Three more props can be found on the next frame. Overall molding quality looks great, so I don't think you will find any issue here.

Kit also features underfuselage tank as well as several types of chin panels. Of course, you will use only one out of them.

Fuselage halves come on the separate plastic sprue, both are molded together with tail fin and nose section. I would recommend to be careful with top cowling cover as it might require careful join.

Last grey sprue carries wing parts. Overall design is typical, flaps are molded in, ailerons are separate. For the dropped flaps you will have to buy the separate PE set.

Clear frame comes in the separate plastic bag in order to avoid possible scratches. Molding quality looks great and you can see masks on the photo below.

Pre-painted PE fret is another standard Profipack bonus here. It will be used both inside and outside aircraft.

Two decals sheets are printed in Eduard, so you don't have to worry about quality. All six markings can be seen on the photo below.

Assembly manual is typical for this manufacturer. I show all pages in the video-review.

In my opinion this boxing of the Spitfire should be an interesting option for those who somehow missed the previous releases. Moreover, it is a great choice for all fans of British aircraft in popular 1/48 scale. Don't forget that one box brings almost all necessary things for the nice model. Eduard also offers original resin accessories which would make even more impressive result, but will require extra money and time. :) Well, some of them are completely worth it.
