Zvezda 1/144 Airbus A321 Neo (7043)

This time we are going to talk about Zvezda 1/144 Airbus A321 Neo (7043). New kit comes as yet another version of the famous civil airliner in a typical scale. Plastic will help us copy the largest type of 320-family. There are not that many parts - only 148, which should assemble into a model with 39.7cm length. Packaging is typical, frames are separated into several plastic bags. Let's open them and take a closer look together.

First frame is dedicated to wing parts. Molding quality looks nice, and all mechanization elements come as separate parts.

Here you can take a closer look at panel lines. I would recommend to be careful with those.

Various engine parts come on the next sprue. It is great to see that engines are not copied with simple inserts and should actually look good in the finished state.

Both fuselage halves are molded together with tail fin and nose cone. Molding quality looks nice and guiding pins will come handy during assembly.

Again, for the panel lines, be careful with layers of paint and primer so that you won't lose all those nice features.

I like that model stand comes in standard package. It should come handy for displaying your build.

Clear parts are packed into separate plastic bag. Molding quality looks great, but there are no masks included.

Rear side of the box contains some information about the model and real aircraft.

Decals sheet is not that big, and carries all necessary symbols for one markings options. Note that some decals come with metallic finish.

Marking guide brochure is printed in color, while assembly manual comes in black-and-white. I show all pages in the video-review.

New Airbus should be already available for purchase. In my opinion it is a nice choice for civil aviation modelers. In one box you will get all necessary things, so you just have to build them together. There are several assembly options, and I am sure you will pick one. As for the marking option, well, there are always aftermarket decals, right? :) The only thing which I can advice - find masks set, as it would make whole process even more enjoyable.
