This article is fully dedicated to ICM 1/48 B-26F Marauder (48325). New version comes as yet another release in the series of twin engine aircraft kits from the famous brand. I reviewed the previous types, so it will be interesting to see what is included here. The main differences were change of wing angle of attack, removal of nose armament and windshield design change. Overall packaging is typical for ICM, so all frames are separated into two large bags. There are 380 parts which should assemble into a model with 454mm wingspan. Let's open everything and take a closer look together.
By the way, here you can read review with another B-26 release in the same scale.

Watch this video-review where I show all parts even closer.
We start with wing parts and engine gondolas. Those will be needed for today's version, but overall design is similar to what we saw in the previous releases.
Tailwing should be glued out of several parts. Large bulkheads with struts will be used as supports for both wings.
Other wing is designed in the same way, but note that mechanization is separate on both. I also like that there are guiding elements which should help with alignment.
Both fuselage halves are molded without nose section and tail area. Inside you will find some interior features which should be enhanced with separately molded parts.
Model features both engines, what is quite impressive for 1/48 scale kit. It might be good idea not to glue one of the cowlings, so that you can show what is inside.
Another set of bulkheads comes on the separate frame. I can also recommend to add some metal bar, so that whole alignment will stay sturdy.
ICM included a lot of things for the interior of this aircraft, so it might be worth to spend some time painting and weathering all those parts.
Amount of small parts is quite impressive here, so take your time while installing everything in place.
Clear frames are packed into separate plastic bags. Molding quality looks great, and there is a masking template in the assembly manual.
New parts are featured on the separate frame as you can see on the photo above.
Decals sheet is not that big, but you will find all necessary symbols for several marking options. Printing quality looks great, and you can see all three markings on the photo below.
Assembly manual is typical for this brand. You can check all pages in the video-review.
New Marauder release should be already available for purchase. In my opinion it looks like a great project for experienced modeler. This is not something I would suggest to start for beginners, but if you have some builds behind your back, then you can expect some fun here. Moreover, there are plenty of aftermarket add-ons available already, so I am sure you will find something suitable for additional bling. Don't forget that ICM also offers some figurines, which can come handy for some build ideas.
