This time I am going to tell you more about Miniart 1/35 Kfz.2/40 German Repair Car Type 170VK (35495). As the name suggests, we are getting more of a combo-set with car, tools and various equipment. All of them can be combined into one diorama scene, and shouldn't be hard to build together. Overall packaging is typical for this brand, so all frames are sealed into one plastic bag. Let's open it and take a closer look together.

First frames features large car parts such as floor panel and one-piece chasis. Yes, bonnet halves are designed separately, what might be handy to show the engine.

Repair equipment can be found on the smaller frames. Here you can see the toolbox and oxygen bottles. Molding quality looks great even on the smallest ones.

As it was mentioned, kit features nicely detailed engine, so it can be also a good idea to enhance it with wiring. Also be careful with thin parts, as those can be quite tender in some cases.

Last grey plastic sprue brings additional car body sections. Note that Miniart designed doors separately, what can be handy for some diorama ideas.

Clear frame is packed separately. Molding quality looks great, but there are no masks for those parts.

Unpainted PE fret is a welcome bonus which should add some fine features around the car. Moreover, it will be used for tools as well.

Decals are printed in Cartograf, so you don't have to worry about quality issues. There are all necessary symbols for three marking options. You can see them on the photo below.

New car set should be already available for purchase. In my opinion it is a great combo for those who would like to get several things in one box. Yes, there are no figurines included, even though the boxart shows them, but it shouldn't be difficult to get some from Miniart. Overall quality looks great straight out of the box, and there are some handy features included too. As long as you ready to dedicate some time to get everything painted and weathered properly, then it is definitely a kit to check out.
