Miniart 1/35 US Tow Truck G506 (38113)

In this article I am going to tell you about Miniart 1/35 US Tow Truck G506 (38113). New kit comes as another version of the famous vehicle. As you remember, plastic copies Chevrolet truck in popular scale. This time we get tow version, so it might be useful to find some car in the same scale for the full scene. Previous releases were quite nice in terms of features, so it will be interesting to see what is supplied here. Overall packaging is typical for this brand, and all frames are sealed into one plastic bag. Let's open them all and take a closer look together.

Two sprues on the photo above might be familiar to you as those are universal for all previous versions of G506. Two other small frames carry various tools which will be useful for a nice-looking result.

Front cab should be glued out of several panels. We get doors and bonnet which can be positioned open and this is a handy feature for some diorama ideas.

Rear bed comes on its own frame. It might be a good idea to play with weathering here for even more convincing look.

Plastic roadwheels is a great feature, even though they don't have weight effect on them. Note that the engine is also provided in this G506 kit.

Clear frame is packed into separate plastic bag. Molding quality looks great, but there are no masks included here.

Unpainted PE fret will be handy for some fine features on your truck. Yes, Miniart also supplies metal chain for your tow crane.

Decals fit onto one sheet, and printing quality looks great. They come from Cartograf, you will find all necessary symbols for four markings which are shown below.

Assembly manual is typical for this brand. I show all pages in the video-review.

New kit should be already available for purchase. In my opinion this is another great offering from Miniart and it might be fun to build as diorama. Just find another car in the same scale, add the base and it will be quite a scene. Yes, figurines are not supplied here, so I wonder if Miniart will release something separately. Overall quality looks great, and there is nothing extra to add about it.
