Zvezda 1/35 MT-LB (3652)

Today I am going to tell you about Zvezda 1/35 MT-LB (3652). This kit comes as new-tooled plastic set from the famous brand. It is molded in popular scale and should be a great choice for the project with this carrier. Overall packaging is typical for the brand, all parts come in several plastic bags. In total there are 230 parts which should assemble into a model with 18.4cm length. Sounds like a reasonable size for 1/35 scale, so let's take a closer look at all the parts here.

First frame carries hull panels for the lower sections. Here you will also find plastic track sections as well as towing cable which is also molded out of plastic.

Floor panel has nice surface, even though this area will be barely visible on the finished model.

Top hull section comes on the next frame. Note that all hatches are molded separately, and this might be handy for figurines placement. There is not interior in the model kit though.

Roadwheels look okay, surface features deserve a decent weathering afterwards.

Kit features clear parts as well. Zvezda makes them in a nice molding quality, but there are no masks included, so you will have to cut your own stickers.

Decals are printed in nice quality. Full number registry might come handy for some alternative markings. Chrome stickers will be useful for mirrors.

Marking guide is printed as separate brochure in color. On the rear side of the box you will also find pictures of the finished model.

Assembly manual is black-and-white, but instructions are clear. You can check all pages in the video-review.

New kit should be already available for purchase. In my opinion it looks like a great choice for modelers who would like to build something different. Moreover, this vehicle can be good pick as diorama subject. Just add some figurines and base, while openable hatches are already included. I wonder if we will see some aftermarket for this kit, but even standard features look fine for this size.
