Miniart 1/35 German Tractor with Fla-MG151/20 (53008)

This review is dedicated to Miniart 1/35 German Tractor with Fla-MG151/20 (53008). Under such a long name you will find combo-release of a quite unusual type. One box will bring you three kits under one lid - tractor, trailer and special AA gun installation. Combine them together, and it will be something completely different from what we are used to see in 1/35 scale. Overall packaging is typical, so all frames come sealed into one plastic bag. Let's open them all and take a closer look together.
By the way, here you can read review with a bit different take on the whole idea.

We are going to start with tractor parts. Those two frames should be familiar to you as they were also featured in the previous versions of the vehicle.

The AA gun installation will be also nicely detailed, so it might be worth spending some time on nice paintwork.

Trailer parts come on the separate frame. Wooden panels don't have texture imitation, so you can choose whether you need it or not.

Roadwheels are molded out of plastic. External features look great, and such items are definitely better than some vinyl offering.

Trailer design is not overcomplicate, just like the real thing. Note that subframe bars are molded together with leaf springs.

More tractor parts come on the smaller frame. Overall molding quality looks great in my opinion.

Ammo boxes will have to be glued out of several panels. Here you can also see the middle section for the rear wheel.

Trailer wheels are a bit different in design, but wheel rim is molded separately from one side. Note also amount of thin parts here.

Clear frame is packed into separate plastic bag. Molding quality looks great, but you will not need this large screen from here, only lenses for headlamps

Unpainted PE fret will be useful for some fine features on your build. Parts are quite tiny, so be sure to have the right tools.

Decals are printed in Cartograf, so overall quality looks great. You get all necessary symbols for two markings which are shown below.

Assembly manual is typical for this brand. I show all pages in the video-review.

New combo-kit should be already available for purchase. In my opinion it is cool that Miniart keeps packing some unusual combinations and produce them assembled together. I know it might sound a bit like asking too much, but this whole set idea could benefit from some figurines included. Then the scene would look complete, but now you will have to find something unless you want empty-looking tractor project. :) Who knows, maybe Miniart will come up with some separate set later...

  • Nice molding quality
  • Clever parts division
  • Three kits in one box
  • Cartograf decals

Cons

  • Might be a bit tricky in terms of weathering
  • No figurines
