This article will tell you more about Pen&Sword Fighitng Tigers in Italy. As you can guess from the name, new book is dedicated to the famous German tank and its deployment in Italy. The writing style is a bit different from others because whole story is based on first hand accounts about those tanks. Such a thing might be useful not only for history fans, but also for those who would like to have a bit more background for their model build. I am reviewing digital format, and you can also get this book in paper too. Let's open it and take a closer look together.
By the way, here you can read review with another book about this famous tank.

Watch this video where I show full book and more pages inside.
First we start with contents page. Here you can notice that there are 11 chapters in total, placed in chronological order.
Book is not that thick in terms of pagecount, there are only 184 pages inside. It means that whole publication should be easy to read, thanks to the clear spacious format as you can notice on the photos. Overall problem of the Tiger tank was its design sophistication, and in this book you will learn more on why it was actually one of the biggest pain points for the crews.
New book should be already available for 35USD, and you can get either hardcover or digital version. At first I expected more of the text-full book than photos-rich publication, but in reality we get a good mix of handy info together with some rare pictures. Its powerful 88mm gun wasn't the ultimate answer to all the problems, and that's what author tried to show in the book. In my opinion it will be equally interesting for history fans as well as for those who would like to learn more about the famous tank. Moreover, there are plenty of ideas for your builds, so definitely get one if you plan to build Tiger in whatever scale you prefer.
