This time we are going to talk about ICM 1/72 F-16AM of Ukrainian Air Forces with PAG-14 (72145). As you can guess from the name, kit features the famous jet fighter together with some new weapons. All this should be enough to copy the version used by Ukrainian Air Forces. Moreover, in small scale it won't take a lot of space on your shelf. Yes, PAG-14 plates are also included here and should be handy for depicting aircraft in parked position. Overall packaging is typical, so all parts come sealed in bags. There are 73 parts which should assemble into a model with 202mm length. Note that F-16 plastic comes from Hasegawa, so it will be interesting to check closer. Let's open the box and take a look together.
By the way, here you can read review with another aircraft in small scale.

Watch this video-review where I show all parts even closer.
On the first frame you will find various armament for the aircraft. Overall quality looks fine, and those should be enough for standard build.
Next sprue brings one-piece wings, tailwings and tail fin. Here you can also see some of the landing gear parts.
Lower fuselage half is molded on the same frame with engine nozzle. Note that front section of the air intake is molded as one-piece part.
Top fuselage half comes on its own frame and looks fine. The only thing I am not a huge fan of is the premolded nose cone.
Clear frame is packed in the separate plastic bag. Molding quality looks great, but there are no masks in the kit.
PAG-14 plates come in the separate plastic bag. Those panels are definitely a welcome bonus for a nice diorama with your small scale F-16.
Armament is supplied on several frames. Those are new parts from ICM and should be perfectly compatible with Hasegawa plastic.
Decals sheet is not that big, but features all necessary symbols. Printing quality looks fine, and you can see both options on the photo below.
Assembly manual is typical for this brand. You can check all pages in the video-review.
New set should be already available for purchase. In my opinion it is a great choice for modelers who would like to build a modern aircraft in special version. Some might say that Hasegawa plastic is not that new, but it looks surprisingly good even today. Small parts count is also good as assembly will be easy and quick. You can also find plenty of aftermarket in order to add even more features on the model project.
