This review is dedicated to Lifelike Decals 1/48 Mitsubishi A6M Zero Part 4 (48-064). As you can guess, new release continues line of useful add-ons from Japanese brand. Fourth part brings another portion of interesting markings which might help you differentiate the model from typical out-of-the-box options. Overall packaging is typical, and boxart promises 14 options inside. Let's open this ziplock and take a closer look together.
By the way, here you can read review with the second set from the series.

Watch this video-review where I show all decals even closer.
Just like in the previous release, we start with two useful inserts. First one is a paint and weathering reference, and smaller paper should be handy as the template for masks.
Lifelike Decals supplied three sheets here. On the first one you will find hinomaru in various sizes and versions.
Second one is dedicated to main symbols and stencils. Overall quality looks great as all three decal sheets come from Microscale Industries.
The smallest one is dedicated to various stripes and aircraft numbers. Yes, some of the symbols can be replicated with help of masks, but this is more of a question to modeler if he is eager to go that way.
Marking guide is printed in color, what is very useful for this type of product. Note that each marking is accompanied with detailed history note. Stencils application guide is universal, but you can check all pages in the video-review.
Today's set should be already available for purchase, but I would recommend to hurry. Just like the previous releases, this one comes in a limited amount, so it can be sold out quickly. Overall quality is on the same high level as the previous sets for Zero in 1/48 scale. In my opinion this is a must-have for modelers who would like to build something special with their plastic kit.
