Today's review will be dedicated to ICM 1/32 Luftwaffe Pilot School (32017). It is easy to guess from the name and the boxart that one box will bring you not only the aircraft model, but also some figures in the same large scale. This might turn into interesting diorama scene, just add some base and get all those parts together. While I reviewed the previous releases of this aircraft before, it will be interesting to see what is offered here. Overall packaging is typical for the brand, so parts come in several bags. In total there are 201 parts for Hs 123 which would have 330mm wingspan, and 25 parts for three figurines. Let's open them all and take a closer look together.
By the way, here you can read review with useful book for this build.

Watch this video-review where I show all parts even closer.
First we see the sprue for the top wing. Note that ailerons are molded separately here.
Engine comes on the next sprue, it is nicely detailed powerplant and might be worth thinking on how to show it on the finished model. Note that cowling panels are molded separately.
Landing gear can be assembled in two versions - with or without fairing. Wheels look fine for this scale, but you can also find some aftermarket for even more features.
More of the engine and cockpit parts can be found on the next frame. Molding quality looks great even on the smallest parts.
Tail surfaces are molded on the separate frame. Each should be glued out of two halves, and there are guiding elements which will help you with assembly.
Bottom wing is also on its own sprue. External features look as good as on the previous top wing parts.
Fuselage halves are molded together with tail fin, but without rudder, which we saw on one of the previous frame. Note that top nose section comes as one-piece element and should save you a bit of time with assembly.
Figures come on the last grey frame. This set should be familiar to some modelers as it was released separately some time ago.
Clear frame is packed into separate plastic bag. Molding quality looks great, and those part would be fine on the finished model.
Decals sheet is not that big for this scale, but features all necessary symbols. Printing quality looks fine. Assembly manual is typical for ICM, and I show all pages in the video-review.
New biplane combo should be already available for purchase. In my opinion it is a great choice for modelers who would like to have good diorama project in large scale. Here you can expect detailed aircraft together with nice figures. Just add some diorama base, and it will turn into an interesting scene. Overall design looks great, it is just the biplane scheme might take some time, especially if you don't have previous experience with such things.
