In this article I will tell you more about ICM 1/48 HP.52 Hampden TB.Mk.I (48353). New release comes as yet another version of the famous British bomber in popular scale. This time we get it together with torpedo. I reviewed the previous release, so it will be interesting to see what is included here. Overall packaging is typical for the brand, and all frames are packed into several plastic bags. In total there are 271+30 parts which should assemble into a model with 341mm length. Let's open everything together and take a closer look.
By the way, here you can read review with the previous version of this aircraft.

We are going to start with aircraft parts. Here you can see some of the fuselage panels as well as machine guns for the turret.
Each wing should be glued out of two halves. Wing mechanization is molded separately and should be handy like this in 1/48 scale.
ICM also provides a sprue with bombs, even though here you will need only few parts.
Fuselage halves are quite big, but don't worry, there are guiding elements which will help you with assembly. External features look fine out of the box.
Inside you will find some features too, what might be handy in case you plan to open the bomb bay.
Another wing comes on the separate frame. For such large wingspan it might be a good idea to use metal rod or balsa wood.
Torpedo sprue comes next. It might look familiar to some of you as it was also released as separate kit.
Tail surfaces should be assembled separately. There are guiding elements which will help you with that.
This frame comes in two, as there are engine and landing gear parts. All of them are looking fine, you just need to carefully paint everything. Of course, there is also an option of getting aftermarket for some extra money.
Clear frames are packed into separate plastic bags. Molding quality looks traditionally nice for ICM, so you just need to carefully install those and apply masks.
Decals sheet is not that big, but you will get all necessary symbols for four marking options. All of them can be seen on the photo below.
Assembly manual is typical for this brand. I show all pages in the video-review.
New bomber should be already available for purchase. In my opinion it is a great combo which continues series of British bomber in popular scale. Even the standard build should look great, but you can get even more with some aftermarket or scratchbuilding. Overall quality is nice, keep in mind that whole thing is more for experienced modelers who know what to do with such large models. :)
