Zvezda 1/144 Vostok Launch Vehicle (7501)

This time I am going to tell you more about Zvezda 1/144 Vostok Launch Vehicle (7501). As you can guess, whole plastic kit copies the famous space rocket which was used to launch Gagarin. Scale choice is quite surprising here, as it should be big enough to allow some additional paintwork tricks. Packaging is typical, so all frames are sealed in bags. In total there are 107 parts which should assemble into a model with 26.6cm length. Let's open everything and take a closer look together.

On the first sprue you will find manned spacecraft parts. Here Zvezda also included special display stand which should be useful.

Don't worry - the same thing is also included for the rocket as well. On the photo above you can see two halves for the main body.

Each engine should be assembled out of several parts. There are guiding elements which will help you with this task.

Decals sheet is not that big, but you get all necessary writings here. Printing quality looks great, marking guide can be checked on the photo below.

Rear side of the box also features pictures of the finished model.

Assembly manual is black-and-white, you can check all pages in the video-review.

New set should be already available for purchase. In my opinion it is a great pick for those who would like to have rocket on their shelf. Overall quality looks fine out of the box, so you just need to carefully build everything together. Model stands are nice to see included in the standard package, as it makes whole build a bit more enjoyable. The only thing that comes to my mind is a figurine of spaceman, so that the size of the thing will be even more evident. :)
