Miniart 1/35 Sd.Kfz.234/4 with Crew (53014)

This review will tell you more about Miniart 1/35 Sd.Kfz.234/4 with Crew (53014). Fresh release comes as combo-set from the famous brand. As the boxart suggests, there are figurines and eight-wheeler, which can be combined into one interesting project. I reviewed them separately, but it will be interestig to see what is supplied here. Overall packaging is typical for the brand, so all frames come in one plastic bag. Let's open them all and take a closer look together.
By the way, here you can read review with Puma in the same scale.

Watch this video-review where I show all parts even closer.

We are going to start with first two large frames. Here you will find spare wheel as well as some of the interior parts.

Hull sections are molded without hatches. Such a feature can be handy for some build ideas where you will need them open.

Roadwheels are a bit simpler in design in comparison with spare wheel. Here you have to combine only two parts together.

Top hull panel is molded as one-piece part, where you will have to install separate panels. On the photo above you can also see some of the interior walls which should be visible in the fighting compartment.

Main gun and its breach should be nicely detailed. Here you can see main barrel and several types of the muzzle brake.

Complex suspension should be assembled out of several parts. Whole process will take some time, but final result should be worth it.

Even though this is not an interior kit, there are still plenty of things to build in fighting compartment. Such a thing will be needed as whole section is visible on the finished set.

Lower hull should be glued out of several panels. Here you can also see interior floor, which deserves a nice weathering.

Figurines are molded in typical style for this scale. In total there are five soldiers which will have to be placed on top of you vehicle.

Clear frame is packed separately. Molding quality looks great, but there are no masks for those parts.

Unpainted PE fret will be handy for some fine features on your build. Decals are printed in Cartograf, so you don't have to worry about possible printing issues. All four markings can be seen on the photo below.

Assembly manual is typical for this brand. I show all pages in the video-review.

New combo-release should be already available for purchase. In my opinion it is a nice pick for modelers who don't want to search for separate items. Here you get figurines and vehicle together, and this should be enough for diorama project. Moreover, you can also add some base for even more convincing look. I like the fact that Miniart didn't skip on internal features, as it will be important for the finished build.
