This review will be focused on Zvezda 1/72 BMP-3 (5079). As you can guess from the name, kit comes in smaller scale and copies the famous infantry fighting vehicle. Previously it was available in 1/35, but now you have a chance to assemble it in smaller dimensions. It should be interesting to see what is included in the box and how this vehicle is copied in reduced size. There are 127 parts in total which should assemble into a model with 12.7cm length. Let's open everything and start with video-review.
By the way, here you can read review with another BMP from different brand.

Watch this video where I show all parts even closer.
On the first frame you will find roadwheels and track parts. It is nice to get plastic tracks in small scale as those parts should look a bit more convincing.
Next we see floor panel together with some turret parts. Yes, hatches are premolded unfortunately. Overall parts division looks logical, but it might be still good to check the overall fitment of those.
More hull panels are placed on the next sprue. Surface details look great, but it is strange that even the rear doors are molded shut.
The same can be said about the top panel. Separate hatches could be handy for some figurines, but here Zvezda decided to simplify the model.
Rear side of the box shows the finished and painted model.
Decals sheet is not that big, but you get all necessary symbols. Printing quality looks great, and marking options can be found on the separate color insert.
Assembly manual is typical for this brand. I show all pages in the video-review.
New BMP should be already available for purchase. In my opinion it looks fine out of the box, and parts count is not that big. Nevertheless, it feels a bit oversimplified with all hatches molded shut. I am not even mentioning the interior as well as clear parts for this vehicle. If you are fine with such things, and you don't need them, then this plastic might be a fun thing to work on.
THANK YOU FOR YOUR DONATIONS WHICH MADE THIS REVIEW POSSIBLE!
